We are working with a NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Head of EPRR. This role will be based on site and will be on for 3 - 6 months initially.

This is an interim role and should be expected to be remunerated between £400 - £500 per day.

Key responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining the organisations Emergency Planning, Resilience and Response (EPRR) programme;
Support all business activities necessary to enable the organisation to manage a disruptive incident;
Support the organisation as a whole to anticipate, respond to and recover successfully from disruptive events;
Support and assist in the development of EPRR strategy and policy:
Assist in aligning all EPRR policy, planning, initiatives and goals with organisational goals;
Identify and make recommendations for change and adaptation to meet the needs of the business;
Identify and make recommendations for solutions to obstacles and business challenges;
Write and maintain relevant corporate policy documents relating to EPRR;
Work with partners to develop and maintain effective EPRR arrangements:
Develop and facilitate training and exercising programme for EPRR;
Ensure that the organisation has an effective training and exercising programme in place,

The ideal candidate will have: 
A relevant degree/equivalent level qualification or evidence of specialist knowledge attained through professional experience within a healthcare provider setting;
Significant experience managing business continuity within an organisation;
Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards and how it applies to a healthcare setting;
Understanding of risk management.
