North and North East Lincolnshire Councils have created a joint Director of Public Health role serving both Authorities. We offer the successful candidate a great opportunity to scope and shape the public health agenda in meeting local and national outcomes.

We have a strong desire to weave public health thinking and delivery throughout both organisations, both places and our partners. Through the new Humber and North Yorkshire ICS, our ambition for a Greater Lincolnshire Devolution Deal and a partnership approach with Greater Lincolnshire Public Health, the opportunity to shape and affect positive change particularly focussing on our communities is here.

The DPH role is supported in this exciting agenda by two well-established and committed teams, led by Public Health Consultants and including multi-disciplinary public health practitioners with significant knowledge and experience in the places, the people and partners who are key to delivery of public health outcomes.  There is a real willingness in the team to embrace this next phase of the development of North and Northeast Lincolnshire as places known for excellence in public health delivery.
