We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to support senior management at a NHS organisation in Yorkshire while it goes through a period of change.

Partnering and collaborating with colleagues across the organisation, your key responsibility will be to support the senior management team in managing their financial position and implementing their business plans.  As a Finance Business Partner, your role will involve building working relationships swiftly and establishing a robust challenge of financial projections to support effective decision making. You will act as the face of finance and as a critical friend to the business, ensuring stewardship of public funds and efficient and effective use of budgets. This role will provide financial management and analysis to the commercial and knowledge portfolio and play a key role in delivering improvements.

You should be a qualified accountant, or equivalent, with substantial relevant experience of working within a business facing finance department.  Preferably you will have experience of working within a public sector environment, but commercial exposure, especially around pricing, will be very helpful as well.  Not only will you need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, but you will need to demonstrate strong influencing and negotiation skills.

The role is likely to give you exposure to productivity and improvement work, and will offer the right person a great opportunity to understand the whole business whilst adding weight to their CV.
