NHS Adult Safeguarding Professional

Practicus are partnering with a London based NHS organisation that are urgently seeking a Adults Safeguarding Professional.

PURPOSE - You will use your skills as an experienced Safeguarding professional to develop and manage adult safeguarding services for the organisation.

THE DIFFERENCE is that you will apply your expertise in providing daily support to the wide range of workforce and ensure they have safe, efficient, and effective delivery of care, compatible with professional and national standards.

THE ROLE IS BOTH INTERESTING AND CHALLENGING because you will be working in sensitive situations dealing with highly complex matters monitoring safeguarding performance and ensuring the policies reflect the guidelines.

TO DELIVER THIS we require an experienced adult safeguarding professional either from nursing or social worker background who is credible with the knowledge of working in an acute hospital setting.

· Advanced adult safeguarding knowledge within an acute setting
· Ability to deal with highly sensitive and complex matters communicating positively to a rapidly changing environment.
· A proactive professional who has responsive approach to work and a team player
· Ability to collaboratively work with staff at all levels

BAND: NHS Band 8b/c
LENGTH: 5-6 months
START: June 2023
