As part of a trust wide Quality Governance improvement initiative, this award-winning acute NHS Trust in the South West are looking to appoint a hands on, clinically trained, quality expert who has experience of CQC Inspection readiness.
Your role will be to work with the ward, divisional and corporate quality governance teams to observe, review and identify unwarranted variation, support them through training and other interventions in preparation for inspection. You will be hands on and must be comfortable leading assurance of clinical processes and teams, including training interventions. Additionally you will support the improvement of Quality Governance assurance by reviewing reporting, processes and task allocation.
This is anticipated to be a 6 month consulting contract during which you will be on site for the majority of the week.
Essential skills and experience include:
- RGN or other recognised clinical background
- Clinical practice within an acute environment
- Skilled and experienced in preparing for CQC Inspection
- Broad understanding of clinical quality governance
Commencing late June or early July this is a great opportunity to support the transformation of clinical safety, embedding best practice and supporting the clinical teams for scrutiny. This role is Outside IR35.
