Finegreen are currently supporting an NHS organisation in the recruitment of a Pharmacist Services Manager - Mental Health based in the South East of England.

This role will start ASAP and will be for 3 months initially with a day rate under the CCS NMNC RM6277 framework of c£235.00 - £255.00. 

The post holder will support the use of medicines across the organisation to achieve best outcomes for service users in accordance with best practice, having extensive mental health expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work predominantly within designated multidisciplinary teams, providing a clinical pharmacy service to wards, units, and teams;
  • Develop and maintain relationships within designated multidisciplinary teams to ensure service user’s care plans reflect the best use of pharmacological treatments;
  • Provide advice to service users and where relevant, carers on the best use of their medicines;
  • Ensure risks within medicines management are identified and managed;
  • Where appropriate, collaborate with other health care providers to ensure that physical health considerations are encompassed;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant medicines related legislation and policy.

Successful candidate will have:

  • Mental Health Clinical experience is Essential;
  • Operational management experience within a Mental Healthcare setting;
  • Post graduate qualification in Mental Health Pharmacy;
  • Ability to demonstrate a sound base of clinical pharmacy knowledge;
  • Efficiently work as part of a clinical team.
