My client offers healthcare for patients who have complex and challenging mental health needs.
My client is looking for an experienced interim Service Director to manage two of their sites based in the East Midlands. The purpose-built hospital needs strong operational leadership to drive improvements in occupancy, finance and building relationships with commissioners beyond their usual geographical areas.
The successful candidate will need experience in driving operational change within similar environments (mental health hospitals, community services) alongside the ability to hold people to account whilst remaining relational. Whilst the team have worked hard to drive improvements, without a Service Director there is a risk that the service will have no leadership or oversight until a substantive is found.
During the assignment, the client would like the successful interim service manager to:
* Ensure occupancy above budget
* Supporting with the transformation of processes and systems
* Fostering strong relationships with the other divisions and relationships with other service directors
* Working well with the leadership team beneath them
* Business development - improving commissioning relationships outside of current geographical area
If available, the successfull candidate can start very soon, and will report directly into the COO
The assignment requires the successful candidate to be onsite of the two services in the East Midlands for a minimum of 4 days a week. The assignment is inside of IR35 with a rate of between £450 - £500. The assignment is for 3 -6 months.
