Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of clinical care, including general acute and emergency services, to approximately 250,000 people across Wiltshire, Dorset, and Hampshire. We also extend specialist regional services such as burns, plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate, genetics, and rehabilitation to a much wider population of over three million individuals. The Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre at Salisbury District Hospital covers a significant portion of southern England, serving around eleven million people. Our staff members also conduct outpatient clinics in various locations in Dorset and Hampshire, and our specialist staff hold outreach clinics in hospitals within the 'Wessex' area.

Like many regions, there are financial challenges within our organisation and system, Bath, Northeast Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire ICS (BSW). We maintain strong and supportive relationships with colleagues across the system and the CFO will play an essential role in fostering system collaboration within our Acute Hospital Alliance as well as building on the close cooperation between community services, Wiltshire Council, and our local Primary Care Networks, to best help us effectively address the challenges that lie ahead.
