Nurse Lead - Professional Standards and Education

My client is an independent provider of community-based healthcare services to children and adults.

My client requires a Nurse Lead - Professional Standards and Education, who has worked in in the NHS or in an independent provider in areas such as community care, primary care, urgent care or acute care. My client needs a nurse with an active PIN and ideally a post-graduate qualification.

My client is looking for an interim Nurse Lead who will lead on professional standards improvements, such as the development of new roles, apprenticeships, supporting non- medical prescribers, as well as undergraduate students. There is also a small team to support and manage. My client feels it would be a advantageous if the interim manager has experience of implementing accreditation programmes or excellence programmes for nursing. The assignment is a real mixture of operational and strategic work and will also involve working with higher education establishments and partners.

The assignment will run for 3 to 6 months, requires an immediate start and I have an assignment rate of £380pd, inside IR35, 2 days on-site per week is required. If you have the requisite experience, please get in touch with Andrew Vaux - andrew.vaux@practicus.com
