A Large NHS Trust is seeking a Interim Director of Operations for either Surgery or Cancer Services. This role requires experience at the appropriate Director level within either Surgery or Cancer for a immediate start for 6 months.
Director of Operations for Surgery or Cancer Services
We are seeking an experienced and Divisional Director of Operations Band 9 to lead Surgery or Cancer Services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the divisional management team.
- Ensure the delivery of day-to-day operational, quality, and access standards.
- Monitor and manage the performance of the division against agreed operational, access, and financial targets.
- Lead the delivery of approved service developments and transformation schemes in line with the Trust plan.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to balance quality and safety with achieving and maintaining financial sustainability.
- Lead on CIP within the Division
Experience Required
- Band 9/ Director level experience in either of the divisions
- Availability to start shortly for 6 months
- Can work onsite 5 days a week
