Job summary

It's an incredibly exciting time at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. The Board is in the process of "resetting" the Trust direction, which has resulted in some changes to the organisation's core purpose.

This has provided the Trust with a huge opportunity to focus on and become a centre of excellence for all-age mental health services.

This new role will be central to achieving this vision, by providing clinical leadership to the large adult mental health directorate. The post will operate at a senior level alongside the new Director of Mental Health, being jointly responsible for the directorate.

It is anticipated that the post-holder will provide system leadership for mental health, developing relationships with key partners and playing a key role in the mental health collaborative. The post-holder will be a key member of the trust's senior leadership team and will deputise for the medical director. This post would be an ideal developmental role for a move to executive level leadership, and if successful, you will join the Trust at a time which will be career-defining.

You must be creative and have a real focus on partnership working, as we strive to do more with our communities and you will be key to making sure we are making the right decisions for the right reasons. We can also offer relocation packages to support you to make the move to Coventry and Warwickshire.

Interviews will be week commencing 11 December 2023.
