An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated senior midwife to contribute to the development and implementation of key objectives across the Clinical Management Group (CMG) and the Trust to deliver high quality care.
Working in close partnership with the Director of Midwifery, Deputy Chief Nurses, Women’s & Children’s Senior Leadership Team and Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR) System Partners you will contribute to the development of our new UHL Maternity & Neonatal Improvement Programme (MNIP), play an active role within the Local Maternity & Neonatal System (LMNS), as well get involved in the delivery of the LLR Women's Health Strategy.
You will lead on the operational implementation of the maternity workforce and perinatal surveillance strategic vision both at UHL and within LLR LMNS. As a compassionate and collaborative leader, and supportive manager, you will influence and deliver change, empower and support career growth in your teams, and be committed to tackling health and care inequalities.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in operationally leading the service and will be an essential voice and role in ensuring the provision of a safe, effective, and evidence-based care service for our communities.
The Head of Midwifery will have responsibilities and accountabilities across Maternity, Neonates, and Gynaecology ensuring supportive and responsive nursing and midwifery management and leadership of our services.
