Morgan Law is working with health organisation with a clinical purpose and is a provider of diagnostic services. They work in partnership with the NHS and are seeking a candidate who has strong background in managing Key client accounts, managing relationships, growing existing relationships and managing contracts. There is no Business Development and Sales in this role but is a crucial role in the team in managing the relationships after contract award.

The role pays between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum and keen for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.

Due to the nature of the role and organisation, the role requires specialist knowledge of the sector in which they operate and therefore candidates must have experience in areas of either Pathology, Diagnostic Services, Biomedical Sciences or very similar sector expertise. Experience outside of these areas will not be considered.

The role is based in London and you must be able to travel across the South East to meet clients. Hybrid working is offered but it is expected that the majority of the week is likely spent meeting clients. Expenses is paid for travel that is incurred meeting clients in locations outside of the main office in London.

Key Relationships

  • Direct report to the Business Development Director.
  • Close collaboration with Finance, customer support, clinical, operational, and IT teams.
  • Direct engagement with key account stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Maintain, nurture, and expand relationships with existing key accounts in the Southeast region.
  • Ensure in-depth knowledge of each account's needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Regularly update account information, sales activities, and communication logs in Salesforce.

Client Support and Communication

  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Customer Support, Clinical, Operational, and IT teams to ensure all necessary data for key customers is collated and presented professionally.
  • Provide ongoing support, address concerns promptly, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Communicate new product or service offerings and maintain an excellent working relationship with all internal teams.

Contract Management and MI Data Review

  • Oversee and manage contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance.
  • Schedule and lead regular meetings with key accounts to review Management Information (MI) data, ensuring their needs and feedback are addressed.

Salesforce CRM Management

  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Generate regular reports on account activities, sales pipeline, and forecasts.

Experience required includes:

  • Minimum of 3 years in key account management in healthcare or pathology service sales.
  • Ability to manage complex accounts and navigate contractual negotiations.
  • Minimum of 3 years in key account management in healthcare or pathology service sales.
  • Proficient in data collation and professional presentation for key accounts.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.
