My client are an non-for profit provider of care for older people who are going through a rigorous finance digital transformation as they aim to improve efficiency across the organisation.

As the Project Manager you will provide the project management expertise and lead on the integration of the new billing system (shortlisting stage) to the newly finance system 'X Ledger'. This new system integration will affect roughly 28 care homes & 28 bookeepers across the organisation who individually manage each home. This change has the full backing of the execs in hope this change will ultimately improve processes moving forwards. Processes are in need of a review and map out as is process with some background work has already been undertaken.

The challenge looking in from the outside will be to fully understand the inefficiencies and identifying benefits realisation. There has been a growing frustration from bookeepers as system is no longer fit for purpose and that this new system will improve processes for the better. Once new system is implemented staff will require training which will be delivered internally provided by the transformation team. Rigorous testing will be required to ensure a smooth go-live.

Direct system experience isn't necessary but knowledge of finance systems is important, Delivery of similar projects within the health and social care sector would be desirable. Qualification of Prince2 methodology would be advantageous.
