This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will lead our Estates and Facilities teams in their next phase of development. We are a complex Trust delivering a diverse range of services from over 100 locations across our two counties; We provide mental health and learning disability services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire and a wide range of community services, including seven community hospitals, across Worcestershire. We provide community services across Worcestershire. We are the only NHS provider in our ICS footprint for mental health and learning disability services.

The Estates and Facilities team provides a full range of in-house facilities management services, including housekeeping, portering, courier services and catering. The estates team undertake the full range of facilities management maintenance and compliance tasks as well as planning and delivering capital projects across the estate. We work closely with our two acute Trust partners to manage our areas of shared estate and believe passionately in creating joined up opportunities with our broader public sector partners.

As Associate Director of Estates and Facilities you will be accountable for the whole organisation’s estate and operationally responsible for the leadership and performance management of the Estates and Facilities teams, ensuring that Estates and Facilities Services are compliant and meet the needs of the Trust. As a suitable candidate you will have held a leadership role within a similar environment and be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of NHS estates and facilities management.
