Job Details
Job Purpose:
You will act as an integral member of the Trust's Operational Management Team, providing management support on both strategic and operational matters in particular in relation to sustainable delivery of all key performance indicators.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide operational management along with strategic and change management with particular reference to the future direction of the Division and its partnerships with external stakeholders;
- Maintain the financial integrity of the Division which will involve agreeing divisional objectives, annual plans and budgets;
- Ensure delivery of all performance targets and longer term aims;
- Lead a culture which focusses on the provision of high quality safe and effective care, promoting continuous improvement that is underpinned by honest and open communication;
- Implement effective communication strategies and techniques with staff to promote involvement, effective decision making and a common sense of purpose.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Educated to degree level and/or significant relevant experience;
- Experience in an operational management role within a Hospital / Community setting;
- Successful management of change within a large complex organisation;
- Well developed leadership and motivational skills;
- Ability to prioritise own and others workloads effectively to meet tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities.
