Interim Oncology Manager

My client are a healthcare provider on the South Coast of England and are looking for an Interim Oncology Daycase Manager (Must be RGN with hands on delivery of SACT)

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs within SACT/ cancer services, and addressing individual's health and well-being needs
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information across cancer services
• Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety, and security
• Improve quality and safety compliance
• Support and enable equality, diversity and rights
• Determine the effective use of efficient use of physical and financial resources
• Assist with research and development and its dissemination within cancer services
• Plan, monitor, and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment
• Lead the oncology/chemotherapy service against business key performance indicators, ensuring the efficient running of the department
• Ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice

My client are open to someone working 4 longer days a week, or 5 normal week days, with all work being on site.

Day rate of circa £375-£400 per day for 4-6 months.
