Job Details

Due to service redesign fantastic opportunities for up to seven enthusiastic Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologists; come join Inpatient Adult Mental Health Services!

  • Different locations (Coventry/Warwick).
  • Relocation package available.
  • Full/part time hours.
  • Flexible working; a third of your role can be remote if preferred

Working in inpatient mental health really is a great use of all the skills we have as psychologists. No two days are the same, and the role is varied, interesting, and thought-provoking. One day you can be undertaking highly complex psychological assessment, the next you can be leading on team formulation, or delivering PBS training! As a clinical/counselling psychologist, there really are so many fantastic opportunities to make a difference.

If you're interested in working with people with a variety of presenting difficulties and collaborating with the MDT to develop trauma informed formulations to inform least restrictive patient care, then this is the role for you. We're keen to recruit recovery-oriented, enthusiastic, and thoughtful team players, and welcome all conversations if you wish to know more. You're also very welcome to come meet some of the team and look round the wards; these roles cover our female or male treatment wards, PICUs, or Rehab.

Company

Do you want to be at the heart of a brighter future in healthcare?

It’s an incredibly exciting time at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. The Board is in the process of “resetting” the Trust direction, which has resulted in some changes to the organisation’s core purpose.

This has provided the Trust with a huge opportunity to focus on and become a centre of excellence for all-age mental health, learning disabilities and autism services, as well as develop its new ambition of becoming a leader in the development of integrated children’s services. Now we’re looking for aspiring executives to join us and make this vision a reality.
