This is an exciting opportunity to join the enthusiastic team of the Department of Digestive Diseases which is evolving to provide a modern responsive service for the needs of patients with Gastroenterological disorders in Northamptonshire and South Leicestershire. We have a Consultant of the Week model of care for in-patient services.  Our endoscopy department has been refurbished and expanded to a well-equipped five room unit.  

New appointee will join our seven existing consultants in delivering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The successful candidate will work with the current junior staff.  This consists of 3 StRs, 1 Trust grade registrar, 2 x IMT, 1 x GPVTS, 2 x F2s, and 1 x F1. There is also a doctor’s assistant to help the ward-based doctors with administrative tasks.
