Role Overview: As the Interim Deputy Chief Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and patient safety. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across various clinical settings, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvements and enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting the Trust's strategic objectives.
Role:
Provide leadership and oversight for clinical quality, patient safety, and nursing practice across the Trust.
Support the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve patient care and service delivery.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and resilience.
Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.
Manage complex clinical and operational challenges with innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Extensive senior leadership experience within the NHS Acute settings.
- Proven track record in clinical quality, patient safety, and operational management.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in ensuring CQC compliance and regulatory readiness.
