My client is an independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide-ranging services to patients across the UK.

They have an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Change Manager who has worked in the hard FM/engineering field to deliver a change from outsourced to insourced engineering teams. You will have led on or have been part of delivering a change such as this. The Engineering Change Manager will need to be across the management of the delivery of equipment, validations and tooling to ensure a smooth transition of service. You will have led and managed engineering teams and be comfortable doing so whilst also delivering change.

The successful candidate must have significant experience in in managing engineering teams and delivering change therein. Ideally you will have worked in the healthcare space before, be that secondary or primary care, although the skill-set is more important than sector exposure. In terms of professional and educational training, IHEEM would be good but is not essential. An NVQ 3 or HNC in engineering (electronic/mechanical/buildings) would be of benefit, although real world experience and track record is the most important thing. You will be personable but able to get your point across professionally and not take a dogmatic approach to situations. You will also need to be an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail.

The day rate is £450pd to £470pd outside IR35. The role is hybrid, although some travel to sites nationally will be needed. The assignment will run for a minimum of 3 months and requires an immediate start. If you have the requisite skills, please contact Andrew Vaux -
