At NHS Humber Health Partnership, we are one of the largest acute Group arrangements in the NHS, with a budget of over £1.4 billion and 19,000 staff. Working together, Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) have significant ambitions and are committed to delivering more together for the populations we serve. Our focus is on maximising the opportunity that our new Group can bring to our area, ensuring we improve clinical outcomes, reduce health inequalities and address the workforce challenges that we face.
We are now looking for an exceptional Group Chief Finance Officer to join us at this pivotal time. As well as robust financial management skills, we want a talented leader eager to work collaboratively at system level and contribute to system leadership on best collective use of NHS resources. We need a leader who puts team and patients first.
We want someone who fastidiously applies best in practice governance and who will be an integral part of our Group governance and accountability structure, applying scrutiny, relentless curiosity and professional challenge. As an Executive portfolio holder, we expect your analytical skills to aid our collaborative decision-making in a high-functioning, high-performance team.
This role is responsible for a significant and complex financial portfolio, but also encompasses estates, facilities, and development, as well as procurement services, to the Group as well as to York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
If you are excited by the prospect of working at pace, at scale, as part of a Cabinet team of subject matter experts and of service to two Trust Boards, we believe we have the career opportunity you are looking for.
