Service Manager

Woodrow Mercer Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to support a private healthcare provider based in Leeds, on a permanent basis. 

Title: Private Service Manager

Salary: £37,000 per annum

Contract: Substantive

Working: Full time on site 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·Consulting with medical teams to create new opportunities and to improve current services.

·Liaising with clinicians to build relationships.

·Develop new private service pathways to streamline and enhance existing services.

·Work in partnership with the marketing teams to provide sound information and to assist with marketing strategies.

·Consulting with the financial teams to support accurate billing and invoicing.

·To build relationships with Private medical insurance companies

·Ensuring appropriate line management of the private admin team.

·Ensuring the development of staff and apprentices, investing your time in them in a structured plan/format

·Ensuring completion of staff appraisals/1-2-1 meetings

·Understanding and development of data to be used for reporting.

·Assemble and maintain appropriate clinical reports.

·Set and review quality standards with the Head of Patient Services. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

·Experience and understanding of Private Medical Services

·Experience of leading a successful team

·Knowledge of private medical insurance

Desirable:

·Clinical background
