Interim Medical Director - Urgent/Emergency

My client is an independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide ranging services to private and NHS patients.

They have an opportunity for an Interim Medical Director who has experience in emergency, urgent care or OOH services - although other services may be considered. This person needs to be a leader with fantastic management experience who can ensure an positive and accountable working culture is achieved. They also need someone with the commercial acumen to build strategic partnerships with GPs, hospitals and commissioners. You should also be GMC registered.

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, be approachable and open in their management style. That said you must be prepared to challenge those around you to ensure best practice is being followed. You will lead the Clinical Governance/Quality team and also be an active member of the team at Board meetings.

The assignment requires an immediate start and will run for 6 months based on a 3 day week. Some homeworking is acceptable, but an office presence is required. I have an assignment rate of £700pd. If you have the requisite skills, please contact Marcus Latham - marcus.latham@practicus.co.uk
