Sheffield – Hybrid (3-4 days onsite)

Preventx is the UK’s leading provider of remote sexual health services, through innovative digital platforms and our own in-house laboratory which prides itself on providing excellence and quality to customers and service users alike.

Our mission is to empower people to take control of their health and wellness, through easy to access and cutting-edge digital healthcare services. In partnership with NHS trusts and local authorities, Preventx provides public services through freetest.me, SH.UK and SHL.UK. We are growing our private, paid service, test.me for people who can’t or don’t wish to use the public sector offerings.

People are at the heart of Preventx. As a team, we are passionate about what we do and are motivated by changing the landscape of public health for the better. When you believe in what you do, that emanates a positive energy and passion that we are proud of.

Following a restructure we have created an exciting opportunity for a Head of People. Reporting into the Chief Executive, this new role will be responsible for leading HR policy and practices within Preventx. This will include mentoring and developing managers in matters relating to effective performance management and HR. You will also be responsible for training and development, talent management, succession planning, embedding performance appraisals, salary and contracts and employee relations.

As our Head of People you will provide sound HR advice and guidance to the Chief Executive and wider leadership team and will have the opportunity to contribute and support a range of projects across the organisation.

We are seeking an experienced HR generalist, with an excellent grasp of operational HR e.g. policies and employment regulations. You will be comfortable operating across all levels of an organisation, with the ability to gain credibility and influence at a senior level. You will be able to provide guidance to colleagues and support managers through a coaching style. You will have a positive outlook, with a can-do attitude, comfortable working in a small-medium sized company, where there will be a need to transition from operational to strategic HR as required.

If you are attracted by the opportunity outlined above, with the skills and experience to meet our requirements, then come and join us on our journey and help us make testing accessible to all through our innovative digital tech and expert laboratories.

Company

Put simply, we help our clients to recruit the best possible people to lead, manage and direct their organisations. Since launching in 2005 we have become an award winning, market-leading consultancy focusing on both public and private sector Healthcare recruitment.

Leadership skills have rarely been at such a premium - as organisations across both public and private sectors attempt to improve services and standards at a time of widespread change and unprecedented financial constraints.

Like other leading executive recruiters, Finegreen has developed a pool of talent built up over many years, along with established networks, to ensure that right-match candidates get to hear about relevant positions. Where Finegreen differs from many others, is in its willingness to spend quality time with clients - to gain an in-depth knowledge of roles being filled and their importance to an organisation.

Over the last 17 years in the Healthcare market, Finegreen has developed into a Virgin Fast Track top 100 company - and was voted Recruiter of the Year at the Health Investor Awards, Top small to medium sized business at the Best Business Awards, and featured in Recruiter’s Top 10 Public Sector Recruitment providers.
