EPR Transformation Manager - NHS Interim Opportunity
Are you an experienced programme manager with a background in Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation? Do you have the skills to lead large-scale system transitions in a fast-paced NHS environment?
We are supporting an NHS organisation looking for an EPR Transformation Manager to oversee the transition from legacy systems to a new Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EPR. This is a Band 8b fixed-term role, based in London, until July 2025.
The Role
As the EPR Transformation Manager, you will:
- Lead the planning and execution of the EPR transition, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and operational services.
- Develop and implement a detailed transformation strategy, aligning with overall programme milestones.
- Oversee system readiness, including data migration, integration, and technical validation.
- Collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure a seamless go-live process.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with system transition and service change.
- Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external implementation partners.
About You
- Proven experience leading EPR implementations or large-scale digital transformation projects within the NHS.
- Strong understanding of data migration, system cutover, and operational readiness in a clinical environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to translate technical information for clinical teams.
- Familiarity with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium or similar EPR platforms.
- Knowledge of PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile, or MSP methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and resolve issues effectively.
